Beyond her role at The Data Lawyers, Mona has a deep passion for the legal challenges posed by emerging technologies. She actively follows trends in privacy, cyber law, and AI, always seeking to bridge the gap between legal frameworks and technological innovation.
Background
Mona’s academic path reflects a strong commitment to legal excellence. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and is currently finalizing her second Master’s in Information Law at the Institute for Information Law (IViR). Her academic curiosity led her to Milan for an Erasmus exchange at Bocconi University, where she broadened her legal perspective in an international setting.
Before joining The Data Lawyers, Mona gained 2.5 years of experience as a Privacy Case Manager, handling complex privacy-related DSR cases. This hands-on experience provided her with a strong foundation in data protection and privacy frameworks, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
