Intern
Description
We are always looking for good interns for our privacy & IT law practice. We represent clients across industries and the globe and of all sizes to help them through complex privacy and IT law related matters. We do privacy compliance projects, we litigate, we advise and we draft and negotiate contracts. Our interns in principle support the practices of all three partners.
Profile
You should have a few years of experience as a law student. Experience at another law firm is a plus, but not required. Superior verbal and written skills in Dutch and English are required and your interpersonal skills may be even better. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is eager to gain experience at a growing boutique law firm, with an enthusiastic and hands-on mindset. You have a sharp eye for detail but you are also a creative thinker. You have an aptitude for technology and a general understanding of how web technologies work. Last but not least: we need you to be fun to work with.
Role and responsibilities
- Preparing presentations (externally)
- Giving presentations (internally)
- Legal and sector knowledge development and sharing (internally and externally)
- Prepare jurisprudence overviews
- Prepare and assist with agreements, memo's and legal proceedings
Part of an internship is (re)searching Dutch case law and Dutch guidelines from the Supervisory Authority. Therefore, speaking (and reading) Dutch is a necessity and thus a requirement for an internship at The Data Lawyers. For that reason, we currently cannot consider applications from non-Dutch speaking applicants.
