CPO Symposium on Algorithms and AI
The subject for this year's annual CPO Privacy Day Symposium on 25 May 2022 will be Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. Vonne Laan of The Data Lawyers is invited as one of the speakers.
This symposium will focus on questions like how to deploy algorithms both intelligently and in a privacy compliant manner. The technical aspects of algorithms and AI ("how does it work?") will be clarified and there will be ample attention to the most recent developments concerning the EU AI-regulation and notable caselaw. Representatives of the Dutch Data Protection Authority will also be present to share their perspective.
Chairing the event will be Friederike van der Jagt, attorney-at-law at Hunter Legal and other speakers include Marlies van Eck, principal consultant at Hooghiemstra & Partners and lecturer at Radboud University, and Martijn Loth, attorney-at-law & tech expert at Taylor Wessing.
